Lara is an immigrant from Nigeria- With a degree in biomedical chemistry, she works in the pharmaceutical industry. As a mother of twins, Lara knows firsthand the importance of having the necessary household and personal items to provide stability for children. Her passion for human dignity and life sciences led Lara to start the mobile pantry.
Growing up in a developing country, Lara experienced the challenges of poverty and lack of access to basic necessities. This inspired her to find solutions to help disadvantaged families in her local community. Lara’s vision is for no child to go without essentials.
With a love of both science and art, Lara brings a spirit of humanism, innovation and compassion to her work. By delivering items for free in a personalized, judgment-free way, Lara aims to empower those in need while restoring human connection and kindness.
As a mother, Lara understands the critical role a steady supply of basic items plays in helping children thrive and reach their full potential. It’s this deep understanding that motivates Lara and her team of volunteers to stabilize lives and create brighter futures through their mobile pantry nonprofit services.
